Leave your climate controls set to max AC when you park. In most vehicles, the AC comes on with the engine when you remote start, and it starts pulling heat out of the cabin before you reach the car. A few minutes makes a huge difference after work in a sun-baked lot.
It’s especially welcome when you’re buckling kids into car seats, since hot buckles and straps cool down before anyone climbs in.
You choose the run time, so the engine shuts off automatically if plans change. The doors stay locked the whole time, and the engine shuts down if anyone presses the brake without the key. When you get in, a simple takeover procedure keeps the engine running so you can drive off.
1-way, 2-way or smartphone control
Smartphone control is ideal when your car is parked far away: a big office lot, a hospital garage or a campus parking structure. Viper’s SmartStart app lets you start, lock and unlock your vehicle from your phone, with GPS tracking on systems that support it. We also work with brands like Compustar, whose systems use the DroneMobile app; ask us about availability. Most cellular systems need a service plan from the manufacturer.
Want more range and confirmation without a phone plan? A 2-way remote with an LCD screen shows engine status, lock status and, on many models, cabin temperature.

Push-to-start, bypass modules and clean installs
Most modern vehicles have a chip in the key or a push-button start, so a remote starter needs a vehicle-specific bypass module to talk to the car’s immobilizer and data network. We work with bypass modules from brands like Directed and iDatalink, and we program each one to your exact vehicle before installation.
We make solid connections, route and secure the wiring like the factory would, and install a hood pin switch so the car can’t be started remotely while someone is working under the hood. We also test every safety shutdown before you leave.
